Welcome to Esperanza of Southern California. We are hobby breeders and exhibitors of the rare Alaskan Klee Kai. The Alaskan Klee Kai is often described as a "mini husky". They were bred down from the Alaskan Husky and designed to be a compact, companion sized version of the husky. We hope you find this page to be informative. We strive to promote the breed as well as produce dogs that are healthy, free of hereditary or congenital defects, have excellent temperments, and that conform to the BREED STANDARD.

July 19- AKKAOA Dog Show; Keiko takes home Best Male X 1 making him a new UKC Champion!
June 14- Cami comes home to live with us.

May 24/25- Keiko's first dog show, wins 2 best male and 2 best of winners putting him one win away from his championship
May- Keiko comes to live with us
Jan 25- Max takes home BEST MALE X1, making him a new UKC champion, but surprises us all when he then goes on to take BEST OF WINNERS!!! We are so proud of our little boy!!!
Jan 24- Max takes home BEST MALE X1
Nikki takes home BEST STANDARD FEMALE X1 and RESERVE BEST STANDARD FEMALE X1.

Dec 31st- TV appearance with Bark Buckle Up(www.barkbuckleup.com) at the San Diego International Auto Show. Look for us on TV New Year's Day on channel 10 at 7:30pm!!! Pictures and possible video soon to be available through our site.
Dec 26th- Snow day in Forest Falls with the WOW AKK pack.
Nov 23- Look for us at the Encinitas Street Faire!
Aug- Jewel makes her debut in the champion class and proves to be a true competitor out in the ring
July 20th, Jewel wins Best of Winners X1, Making her a Champion
July 19th- Jewel wins Best of Winners X2
June 7th- Welcome home Coral to our little dog pack.
June 5th- Welcome home Nikki to our little dog pack.
May 26th- Max's first UKC Dog Show in Claremont. (Won best male)
May 26th- Jewel wins Reserve in both shows
May 25th- Jewel's first UKC Dog Show in Claremont
